Describe a person who contributes to the society
You should say:
Who this person is
How you knew him/her
What type of work he/she does
And explain why you think he/she contributes to the society

I would like to talk about professor Brain Greene, who is a world-renowned professor of mathematics and physics at Columbia university.
I mean, I don’t know him personally but I have read his books on physics and listened to most of his podcast. I think he is one of most important science figures in today’s society and one of his biggest contributions is to be the founder and creator of the “world science festival”.
The World Science Festival is an annual science festival produced by the World Science Foundation, a non-profit organization in NY.
It is basically like a science talk show during which famous scientists around the world are invited onto the festival to discuss a certain topic, for example, the multiverse, relativity, or neuroscience. The goal of the festival is to cultivate a general public informed by science, inspired by its wonder, and convinced of its value.
The festival was founded and created by Brian Greene, who serves as chairman and chief executive. Without him, none of this would have been possible. Each year, millions of people around the world watch this festival either live or on social media. Therefore, I think his biggest contribution is that he took difficult topics in science and communicated to people in an easier and more interesting format, which I think it is amazing and absolutely necessary.
