雅思听力当中“听不出”的原因有很多,除了单词的读音不熟悉,语速快等因素之外,还有一个很重要的问题,连读。
因为中文中不太存在辅音元音在不同单词中连读的问题,所以对英文当中的此类现象,英文学习者们相当的苦恼。
想要突破雅思听力中连读的问题,必须采用跟读的方法。
跟读是在国际ESL教学或者学习中比较推崇的一种方法。但跟读并不是瞎读,也不是靠大声吼能够达到目的的。跟读必须是在充分的听清原文的基础上,一句一句的模仿跟读。更有效的方法是听一句,跟读一句,跟读的时候用录音笔或者手机的录音app录下自己的读音,放出来和原文对照,方可事半功倍。
跟读的材料可以选择雅思剑桥系列的section2和section4。

1、“辅音+元音”
如果相邻两词中的前一个词是以辅音结尾,后一个词是以元音开头,这就要将辅音与元音拼起来连读。

Let me have~alook~at~it.

以辅音结尾的单词+h开头的单词,h不发音,与前面的辅音连续。

Has~hedone~it before? [hæzi:] [dʌnit] Tell~her I miss~her. [telɜː] [misɜː]
“r/re+元音”,如果前一个词是以-r或者-re结尾,后一个词是以元音开头,这时的r或re不但要发/r/,而且还要与后面的元音拼起来连读。

2.“辅音+半元音”
辅音[t]与[j]相邻时,被(同化)连读:
[t] + [j] → [tſ ]

辅音[d]与[j]相邻时,被同化为:
[dЗ]:[d] + [j] → [dЗ]

辅音[s]与[j]相邻时, 被同化为[∫]:[s] + [j] → [ſ ]
