Though I don’t know what you are talking about, it sounds pretty awesome.

Life has been hard enough, let’s just keep the comments to ourselves.

Macho baby/macho girl

Treasure the relationship as we go.

Unprivileged loser

6. 吃货

Foodie

7. 土豪

Filthy rich (注:虽然rich和poor是形容词,但是在口语中经常会用rich和poor作为名词来表达富人和穷人,所以这里的filthy rich既可以用作是形容词,也可以是名词。)

8. 女神

Goddess

If you don’t do stupid things they won’t come back to bite you in the ass.

10. 高大上

High-end/groovy

I’ve had a crush(暗恋)on my class mate ever since I came to this university. She is definitely our campus belle(校花)and my goddess. For four years, I never found the guts to even talk to her. So this week, as we are all graduating soon, I finally got the courage to ask her out on a date. Much to my surprise, she said yes! I was so excited at first but soon I realized there was a big problem. As an unprivileged loser and a complete foodie, all the places I know for taking her out are cheap low-end restaurants, but I knew I needed something high-end and groovy. So I decided to ask one of her friends. Perhaps it was not the best choice for me to make because later I realized her friend was a macho girl, so her suggestions weren’t the best I could find. Anyways, she suggested a restaurant to me and when I took my goddess there I could tell that she wasn’t impressed at all. Throughout the meal, we didn’t talk much and when the bill came, I was shocked. The meal cost me about 500 yuan, about half of what I would spend a month! After the meal I walked back with her. On the way home she told me she was very disappointed. She thought I’m a filthy rich who spends money on unnecessary things. She said that for a first date, a small restaurant would have done the trick. How disappointing! I would have done the right thing but I blew it all by myself! Well, I guess if you don’t do stupid things they won’t come back to bite you in the ass. That was an unforgettable meal I had. Life has been hard enough, let’s just keep the comments to ourselves.
