　　I hate to complain but the place is getting worse.The lavatory is leaking and it smells horribly, as we can tell what our neighbors have been eating for the past 24 hours.This is an advantage not mentioned in the lease.Despite the two layers of windows, the place is always dusty, and there is no place to hang up the laundry, either.The layout is another problem, because we keep bumping our heads or knees into something sticking out.A campaign to clear up the huge dump just next to the building has finally been launched, but the leadership made the decision that the workers should only work at night. When I lean against the window to enjoy the dusty view, a thought leaps to my mind.If only we could turn the dump into a lawn.Then with one leap I could feel part of civilization! But I'm sure the leaders have different plans for the space, or maybe the soil is too lean, and anyway, that's not what my learned head can work out, it seems.A rat is moving around in leaps and bounds, like a rocket in launch.Rats used to be the leading inhabitants of the now empty land.When I sit back in front of the computer and try to concentrate on my learning, with the sound of the leak in the background, I start to wonder whether to lease the place again.
