今天的主题是“线图（The Line Graph）”。

写作解析及范例
答题步骤一：
观察时间轴：从the past到the future，于是特别注意时态。
答题步骤二：
确定会用到现在完成时：事件的起点在过去，结果在现在。
答题步骤三：
对四条线做分组（此图根据线的位置分组）：组1为the US & South Korea；组2为India & China.
答题步骤四：
当然首先写 Introduction.
The lines represent four countries’ proportions of urban populationssince 1970 and the projection for the future until 2030 【注意对于时间线的描述，当时间轴出现从过往到将来的线图时，可以套用】.
答题步骤五：
然后自然是写Body。根据预先做好的分组顺序展开主体部分的写作
First, the dominating majority of Americans have been urban population【用现在完成时的时候，已经暗示了结束的时间点，所以不需要特别指出】【（写法一）先描述整体特征，不带数值】,【再描述值得注意的数字】and it has slowly grown from 70 percent to 80 percent. With the slow growth projected to continue, the proportion will grow only slightly. Second, in South Korea, there has been a rapid growth to America’s high level, and the time before 2010 witnessed the surge(from 40 percent to 75 percent). According to the projection for the future, the country’s urban population will be almostidentical to America’s.
至此，我们写完了组1。感觉还不错，但是，其实上面的展示，其实是“规矩”写法，也即是说，我们的写作还是不够summarize the information。
于是，我们看看“理想”写法如下
The US has always had high levels of urbanization in their populations, as the percentage has constantly been high (over 70 percent and gradually reaching 80 percent). South Korea, since at a low level (40 percent), have caught up with the US because of a surge until 2010. It is anticipated that the two countries’ urban populations will both grow only slightly and be almost identicalproportionally by 2030.
总结一下规矩写法和理想写法的主要区别：规矩写法对于线条的描述采用了“总 – 分”的两步走写法，并且对于每一个特征的发生都当作了独立事件用独立的clause来描述，所以篇幅也相对较长。理想写法更“紧凑”，特征被放进了句子里用名词描述。
现在，大家可以尝试把印度和中国的两条线用理想写法写作。

答题步骤六：
Conclusion，不要忘了对于整张图的最宏观的整体的特征进行总结性描述。
Overall, according to the projections, the four countries will seeproportionally larger urban populations. However, the growth has been varying historically.
