根据New York Post报道,“点赞”、“爱心”、“OK”和“对钩”等表情符号被国外的Z世代评选为十大“中老年表情包”。
而排名第一的“点赞(thumbs up)”还被Z世代视为咄咄逼人的代表。部分Z世代称,“点赞”表情带有挑衅色彩,在任何聊天中使用这个表情,他们都会感到被冒犯。
Sending a thumbs-up can be seen as passive aggressive and even confrontational, according to Gen Z who claim they feel attacked whenever it is used.
Z世代称,“点赞”可以被视为带有挑衅色彩,甚至是咄咄逼人的表情。他们声称,无论何时使用这个表情,他们都会感到被冒犯。
有网友在网上发表动态称:“No one my age in the office does it, but the Gen X people always do it. Took me a bit to adjust and get [it] out of my head that it means they're mad at me(和我同龄的同事没有人用‘点赞’表情,但X世代经常用。我需要花时间让自己适应,不去想他们发这个表情是在‘阴阳怪气’。).”

Generation Z,通常是指1995年至2009年出生的一代人。
Gen X
Generation X,通常指1965-1980年出生的一代人。
“X代”或“X代人”一语首创于加拿大作家道格拉斯·库普兰(DouglasCou-pland)所著《X代:加速文化的故事》(1991)(GenerationX:TalesforAcceleratedCulture)一书的书名。所以作者便冠以这代人为“X代人”这一称谓了(X表示“未知数”)“Y代人”为“X代人”的子女,按“X一Y—Z”字母顺序,故三代人被称为Gen X Y Z。

Some were less offended by the thumbs-up emoji but felt the heart symbol was actually the most inappropriate.

“I actually find a heart emoji weird for work messages. I use heart emojis for things like when someone says ‘I got a new kitten,’ or ‘Susie did a really great job,'” commented one person.
