　　They had made a unanimous decision to hold an uprising against their employers at the uranium plant.Conditions were too poor.Their work utensils were old,the bathrooms always stank of urine,machinery needed to be updated,and computer software upgraded.The underlying threat of unemployment no longer scared the men into doing what they were told.

　　The workers were unified now and they would unleash their demands the following day.There will be uproar,and conflict was sure to unfold,but their bosses would not underestimate the unity of the workers any longer. They would force the company to usher in better training methods,make cleaner rooms to dress and undress for work,and uphold all other demands of the workers.

　　As the leader of the new union thought of all the success they would have he stripped down to his underwear and climbed into bed.The only person who could undermine the movement would be himself and he wouldn't do that.“My ideas underlie the unity and my words persuaded men to act,”he thought.“And I will be the new leader of the plant.”

　　"Honey,”his wife said.“You got a call from that new plant on the other side of the company.They want to offer you the job of general manager!”

　　Staring at the ceiling the man suddenly felt trapped between two worlds,one in management,one in the union.Why now?He thought.Why now?

　　“亲爱的，”妻子说道，“公司对面那家新工厂打电话找你。他们想请你当他们的总经理!”
